A new battery powered heat gun for testing heat sensors and heat detectors that eliminates open flames or using electric heat guns with their cumbersome power cords is being introduced by Malcom Technologies of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

The Malcom MCH-100C Battery Powered heat Gun Kit features a lightweight, Hand-held tool that reaches 900°F and has built-in motor with a fan to provide 2.66 CFM air flow.  Supplied with a 48V rechargeable battery with a shoulder strap, the heat gun has a 9 ft. cord and is ideal for testing heat sensors and heat detectors and fire alarms quickly and safely without an open flame.

Easily carried on-site, the Malcom MCH-100C Battery Powered Heat Gun Kit includes a battery charger and shoulder pack.  Offered with an assortment of accessories including extension cords and retractable 15 foot pole to reach high places without the use of a ladder, this battery powered hot air tool weighs just 1-1/4 lbs not including the power pack.and can accept a variety of nozzles for plastic welding, shrink wrapping,repairing tents, tarps, inflatable boats and soldering and de-soldering.
