CHALLENGE

To produce a soldering iron powered by the same power pack as the MCH-100-A uses.

SOLUTION

Soldering Iron Kit with different soldering tips that is all able to run off Malcom'c 48V DC power supply.

Soon after the first orders of the MCH-100-A tools were delivered we were once again contacted by the Navy to produce a soldering iron that could be powered by the same power pack the MCH-100-A ran off of.

We then searched for a soldering iron company close to our location in Rhode Island and found ESICO in Connecticut. They were willing to provide us with a few prototypes with different wattages all able to run off DC power. We brought these to the Navy and they were accepted right away. Soon after that we began to receive orders. Now we could offer a complete portable electronics repair tool kit. The tool is called the MCH-116 KIT. Requires the Malcom 48V DC Power Supply to operate.
